Ordering process
What happens after I place an order?
After you place an order on barriers4u.co.uk, you’ll receive an order confirmation within one business day. It includes the estimated dispatch date and contact details for your sales representative. Please check all details carefully.
Credit check: before confirming your order we may carry out a credit assessment (mainly for business accounts). If not approved, we will offer prepayment as an alternative.
Prices & payment
Prices are shown in GBP and normally exclude VAT unless otherwise stated. VAT, delivery and any duties/taxes (if applicable) are shown at checkout.

Invoice
Invoices are due in full within 30 days of the invoice date (or as stated on the invoice). Goods remain the property of Snelder Gruppen AB until paid in full.
Late payment interest

Shipping & delivery
Shipping costs
You can view shipping and packing costs in your cart on barriers4u.co.uk. Standard rates apply for our service area. A minimum shipping fee applies. Please contact us with any questions.
Lead times
- Stock items: dispatch within 2–3 days across Europe
- Made-to-order items: approximately 14 business days
Delivery

- Delivery Mon–Fri, 08:00–17:00 (to ground floor)
- Part deliveries may occur to speed up fulfilment
If you prefer to use your own carrier account, please provide all required details in your order confirmation.
Transit insurance
All consignments shipped under our freight agreement are insured. If shipping on the customer’s own account, our insurance does not apply.
Your responsibility on delivery
- Inspect your order immediately upon receipt for visible damage, missing, or incorrect items.
- Sign the delivery note in the driver’s presence.
- Record any discrepancies on the delivery note.
- Notify us within 7 days of delivery if anything is missing, damaged, or incorrect.
If things go wrong
Transit damage
Please contact us if your shipment was damaged in transit. Always follow the inspection steps outlined above.
Warranty information
All products carry a 3-year warranty against functional and manufacturing defects from the order date.
Return guarantee
You may return standard products within 7 days if unused, in the original packaging, and with receipt. The buyer arranges and pays return shipping. Custom-made items cannot be returned. Please contact us for details.
Liability & warranty conditions
Snelder Gruppen AB is not liable for loss of revenue or other costs beyond the value of the goods supplied. The limited warranties do not cover products that were incorrectly stored or installed, misused, abused, altered, or cleaned with unsuitable methods or agents. Normal wear and tear, cuts, scratches, impact or accidental damage are not covered. Consequential or incidental damages are excluded.
Exclusions
We accept no responsibility for typographical errors, mistakes, or other deficiencies on the website or in its content to the maximum extent permitted by law. Strap colours shown online may differ from actual colours.
Delivery delays
If delivery is delayed, you may cancel your order. Loss of revenue is not compensated.
Discounts & special offers
We regularly run promotions. These are single-use and not combinable with other discounts or offers.
Terms & Conditions (T&Cs)
These T&Cs apply to all contracts concluded via the online shop “barriers4u.co.uk”. The seller is Snelder Gruppen AB, trading as Barriers4u.co.uk. This document is available on our website and as a PDF download, and is provided with the contract confirmation for each order.
Formation of the contract
By completing checkout, the customer submits a binding offer. The contract is concluded only upon our separate acceptance. An automatic acknowledgement email does not constitute acceptance. Acceptance occurs either by separate email or by dispatch of the goods, no later than five business days after the order is received. Where prepayment is agreed, the contract is formed upon receipt of payment. We may reject any order at our discretion. Orders to addresses outside our stated delivery area are not possible.
Checkout, payment & returns
Selected items are placed in the cart, where shipping costs and the order total are displayed. You can remove lines or empty the cart. A binding order is placed after entering the required personal details and clicking “Pay now”.
Right to cancel (Consumers – UK/EU)
Show cancellation information
Right to cancel: You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without giving any reason. The cancellation period will expire 14 days from the day on which you, or a third party other than the carrier and indicated by you, acquires physical possession of the goods. For multiple goods ordered together and delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after you acquire possession of the last good.
To exercise the right to cancel, you must inform us – Barriers4u.co.uk / Snelder Gruppen AB – via email at info@barriers4u.co.uk of your decision to cancel this contract by a clear statement. You may use the model cancellation form below (not obligatory). To meet the deadline, it is sufficient to send your communication before the 14-day period has expired.
Effects of cancellation: If you cancel this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the cost of our standard delivery (if charged), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to cancel. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods. You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods unless we agree otherwise. You are liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

Governing law & jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have non-exclusive jurisdiction. Consumers may also bring claims in their country of residence where required by law; mandatory consumer protections remain unaffected.
