Road Barrier – Mobile Anti-Ram Vehicle Barrier System – ISO 22343 Certified

The Road Barrier is a patented, fully mobile anti-ram barrier system designed to rapidly decelerate and stop vehicles attempting to enter restricted or protected areas. Unlike conventional vehicle barriers that rely on a direct frontal impact, Road Barrier uses an innovative controlled deceleration mechanism that significantly reduces the risk of severe injury or fatal outcomes.

Tested and Approved Configuration

Road Barrier has been tested and approved according to ISO 22343-1:2023 by VTI in a configuration consisting of 7 interconnected units, creating approximately 6 metres of barrier length.

The published VTI performance classification applies to the documented test configuration and does not automatically extend to individual units or alternative configurations.

Designed for temporary and rapidly changing security environments, Road Barrier requires no ground works, no foundations, and no heavy machinery for installation. The fully mobile design allows quick deployment, relocation, and efficient transport between sites.

How It Works

When struck by a vehicle, the barrier overturns rather than acting as a rigid obstacle. The triangular base engages the vehicle's chassis and underbody while integrated ground plates penetrate and interact with the front wheels. This creates a controlled deceleration process that brings the vehicle to a stop while minimizing the impact forces experienced by occupants.
